3/8/2010 - Annapolis, MD featured below. I Sold my Canon T1i and Canon 10-22mm Wide Angle lens. I still have my Canon 5D, which will strictly be used for wedding photography and special events. In place of the Canon T1i will be an Olympus E-PL1, which is a small four thirds camera (produces D-SLR quality photos). This one will be used as a travel / beater camera. It also has HD video capabilities. It is still not out until April, so in the mean time, the 5D will serve as the work horse camera. I can't wait to get my hands on the E-PL1, because I'm sick of carrying around the heavy D-SLR and love the low key look of the E-PL1. I remember last year when I went to the Cherry Blossom festival, some guy thought I was a "pro" photographer because I was carrying around an old 10D with Canon 70-200mm. He wanted me to take his photo for the newspaper. With the E-PL1, I will be able to enjoy taking photos and won't get random stares from strangers or hounded by law enforcement.
3/7/2010 - Leesburg, VA added to Night Time. It looks like Chile is off my "to visit" list for a couple of years due to the earthquake. Also, I had planned on visiting Madeira, a small Portuguese island off of Spain; however, there were some major flooding issues there. In the mean time, I plan on visiting Quebec City, Canada sometime in May, Italy (Rome to Amalfi Coast) in September/October, and the Grand Canyon area in December 2010/January 2011.
